Hedvig Engagement Ring

The “Hedvig” design is a simple, solid straight band with the diamond set in a pillar-like setting. Hedvig’s pillar-like setting has an architectural appearance. The setting is as wide as the band, the width being dictated by the diameter of the stone. Worn with the wedding band, this set gives the appearance of a traditional Swedish wedding set which consists of two bands. The pillar-like setting adds interest without detracting from the beauty of the stone. This flat band has edges which are buffed to slightly round them. On the plain version, the setting is made slightly low, whereas on the texture it is made higher. Of course, the height of the setting can be varied according to your preference.
